When a patient is brought in to the hospital or nursing home in a critically injured state, the work of the medical support system begins from there. Most of the time, it begins in the ambulance itself. The goal of any medical support system is to effectively help in the survival of all the patients.
The medical support system attends the patients as quickly as possible, there is instruction given to the system that they should start applying first aids before a nurse or doctor arrives in the scene.
After the preliminary stage, the support system revolves around day to day healing making it an indispensable and integral part of healthcare at large.
